Shipping and Returns
Socalcosdacarris.com will ship orders directly to the client's home address in any part of Portugal within four (4) business days (from Monday to Friday). The delivery period for international shipping depends on the destination country.
Delivery times are estimated and there may be unexpected delays that are beyond the company’s control. In the case of delays, socalcosdacarris.com will inform the customer as soon as possible. Our goal is to ensure your order arrives as quickly as possible. The delivery period starts once payments have been confirmed by the bank and the customer's personal information has been verified.
Shipping costs will vary depending on the total weight of the merchandise, distance, and type of delivery, and will be added to the price of the merchandise purchased. The total cost is calculated and communicated to the customer before the purchase is confirmed.
Damaged Packaging or Bottles
You must review the contents of the order in the presence of the carrier at the time of delivery and, if the contents are damaged, you must immediately submit your claim to the carrier, and subsequently contact socalcosdacarris.com. Photos documenting the damaged packaging or bottles often strengthen claims in these cases.
Socalcosdacarris.com firmly complies with Portuguese legislation. All products presented in our store include VAT rates applicable to the country in effect.
Socalcosdacarris.com is not responsible for additional taxes and/or customs fees that are required upon delivery of merchandise outside of the European Union. Unfortunately, all orders can be taxed, as we do not manage this process we cannot avoid such taxes.
Bank transfer is the only accepted method of payment. The account’s IBAN will be communicated to the customer at the time of the order. Delivery will only be made after receipt of payment has been confirmed. Receipt of payment may be verified by consulting the customer’s copy of the transfer or by receiving confirmation directly from the bank insuring that the deposit into our account has been made.
The client has a maximum period of 14 days from receipt of the product to make returns, without additional charges or having to indicate the reason, by sending a certified letter with return receipt to communicate their intentions.
The client will be reimbursed for the product(s) within a period of 30 days, deducting the cost of the original shipment. Clients are responsible for covering shipping costs. Any item shipped C.O.D. (Collect on Delivery) will not be accepted, and shipping costs will not be reimbursed by socalcosdacarris.com. Goods must be returned in useable condition (including the original packaging).
Compensation for Failed or Late Deliveries
In the event that the order is delivered incomplete or outside of the period indicated by socalcosdacarris.com for reasons beyond their control, the customer has the right to cancel the order, and will be reimbursed for the amount paid by cancelation or bank deposit in the customer’s account up to 7 business days following the written cancellation of the order. Alternatively, the customer may express interest in waiting for the merchandise to become available and receive it at a later date.
Cancellation of Purchase by socalcosdacarris.com
Socalcosdacarris.com may automatically cancel purchases in the following situations: payment has not been received via deposit or bank transfer within the accepted time period, inconsistent data on the purchase request or incorrectly recorded prices by electronic means.
Complaint Processing Policy
All claims will be reviewed according to company policy within 72 hours of the receipt of the complaint.
Long Distance Communication Costs
The costs of long distance communication will be those that are in effect at that time in the country where Socalcos de Carrís’ business address is located. Email communications have no associated costs.
